As you may or may not have known, Marcus Vick, Mike's brother, was charged with a few crimes on Friday, including DUI. This is yet another in a long line of Vick family legal troubles, and with that in mind, let's tally up how many convictions (minus speeding tickets) and lawsuits have been brought against the two men.

2003

- Driving with a suspended license

2004

- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (serving 15-year-old girls alcohol)
- Reckless driving
- Possession of marijuana

2005

- Driving with a suspended license

2006

- disorderly conduct (pulling a gun on people at McDonald's)
- Girl sues Marcus Vick for having sex with her when she was 15 and he was 19. It alleges sexual battery and fraud (The suit goes to trial in September).

2008

- Driving with a suspended license
- DUI
- Eluding police
- Reckless driving
- Driving with a suspended license (separate from above incident)

Michael Vick

2005

- Sued for giving a woman genital herpes. Woman alleged he knew about condition because he visited clinics under the alias Ron Mexico. The lawsuit was settled out of court.

2007

- Conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities (Federal charges)
- Sponsoring a dog in an animal fighting venture (Federal charges)

2008

- Beating or killing dogs (State of VA charge, trial after his release from federal prison)
- Causing dogs to fight (State of VA charge, trial upcoming)
- Engaging in or promoting dogfighting (State of VA charge, trial upcoming)

 

In all, that is 18 separate convictions, lawsuits and charges in the last five years, an average of 3.6 per year since 2003. For their sake, let's hope the number doesn't get much larger.
