Above is a picture of a brand new $350,000 Lamborghini, owned by Chicago Bears linebacker, Lance Briggs. Of course, you can't tell it by speaking to Briggs, who slammed the sports car into a pole on Monday morning.
Briggs wasn't hurt in the crash, but he panicked, according to him, and decided to vacate the scene of the accident, which is a crime. Then, when he figured he should call the police, he reported the car stolen.
Stolen? Did a pole leap out onto the highway and snatch the car away from Briggs, tossing him aside and mangling the vehicle at the same time?
Of course, Briggs, who is facing discipline from nfl commissioner
Roger Goodell, is very sorry. He doesn't have much more to say about his bizarre behavior.
I guess he just panicked.
