Chargers, Tomlinson agree on new three-year contract
The National Football League's San Diego Chargers announced a new 3 year contract with LaDainian Tomlinson through 2011.
Here's the kicker... it's for LESS than his original contract. LT is almost a sure bet for the Hall of Fame and I can't imagine him not getting offers for more money from other teams.
"I love San Diego and being a part of this team with my teammates," said Tomlinson. "My number-one priority was to stay here in San Diego. I truly believe this is the place that gives me the best chance to be successful and win a championship. I want to finish the job we started when I got here eight years ago. My heart has always been in San Diego. I couldn't imagine putting on another uniform."
LT is deeply involved in the community here and it's great to see him stay. Now lets hope the entire team doesn't up and move away.
