, Brian Brohm and many other elite college quarterbacks are taking their game to the next level and have exited college football for life in the NFL. But with spring practices going on at college campuses all around the nation, let's turn our attention there and take a look at the top college quarterbacks who will be returning to lead their teams. Tim Tebow, Florida: He won the Heisman Trophy, so you may have heard of him.
Chase Daniel, Missouri: Daniel was fifth in the country in passing yards with 4,306 and sixth in TD passes, with 33. He finished fourth among Heisman Trophy candidates.
Willie Tuitama, Arizona: The senior-to-be threw 28 TD passes to just 12 interceptions while completing over 62% of his throws.
Graham Harrell, Texas Tech: Harrell led everybody in pretty much everything. He completed almost 72% of his passes and threw for 5,705 yards and 48 TD's.
Colin Kaepernick, Nevada: You probably haven't heard of Kaepernick, but you should. A freshman last year, Kaepernick was tenth in the country in QB rating while tossing 19 TD's to just 3 interceptions. He also ran for 1,420 yards and scored 15 TD's on the ground.
Curtis Painter, Purdue: Only Harrell and Matt Ryan attempted more passes than Painter, and he completed almost 63% of them, tossing 29 TD's along the way.
Dan LeFevour, Central Michigan: A sophomore last year, LeFevour was in the top 20 in college football with 27 TD passes. He also threw for over 3,600 yards, ran for another 1,122, and scored 19 TD's on the ground.
Sam Bradford, Oklahoma: Bradford had a magnificent freshman year, leading the country in passer rating while slinging 36 TD passes. He was the only player in the nation to throw at least 10% of his completed passes for touchdowns.
Todd Reesing, Kansas: Reesing came out of nowhere to throw 33 TD passes and complete 62% of his passes, leading Kansas to an unwarranted, but ultimately successful, Orange Bowl berth
Cullen Harper, Clemson: Harper's TD to INT ratio was 4.5 to 1, throwing 27 TD's and just 6 picks. He completed over 65% of his passes, and was among the top 25 in passer rating.
