We have taken a look at the college game's best returning quarterbacks and running backs, so now let's go over the best wide receivers that will be on the field in 2008.

Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech: As a freshman, Crabtree led pretty much everybody in every receiving statistic playing in the Red Raiders' pass-happy offense. He led the nation with 134 catches, 1,962 receiving yards and 22 TD receptions.

Jeremy Maclin, Missouri: Another freshman sensation, Maclin is not only a great receiver, but a dynamic man in the return game, scoring three TD's that way. For the year, he was in the top 25 nationally with 80 receptions, and fourth in the Big 12 with 1,055 receiving yards to go along with nine TD catches.

Percy Harvin, Florida: As a sophomore, the Gators' Harvin snared just 59 catches, but he did the most with them. Harvin was fifth in the SEC with 858 receiving yards, an average of 78 per game.

Antonio Brown, Central Mich.: Like Maclin and Crabtree, Brown was a freshman last year. Also like them, he had an outstanding season, ranking seventh in the NCAA with 102 catches. He also had over 1,000 yards and scored 6 TD's.

Aaron Kelly, Clemson: Kelly led the ACC and was 26th in the country with 1,081 receiving yards. He also led his conference with 11 TD catches and over 83 receiving yards per game.

Kenny Britt, Rutgers: Britt just missed the top 10 in receiving yards, with 1,232, although that total did lead the Big East. Though he only caught 62 balls, he averaged a ridiculous 19.9 yards per catch, good for fifth best in the nation.

Brian Robiskie, Ohio St.: Robiskie also put up big YPC numbers, going for 17 a pop. He was sixth in the Big 10 with 935 receiving yards and was third in the conference with 11 TD catches.

Michael Thomas, Arizona: Thomas led the Pac-10 in receptions by a good margin, snaring 83, which was 20th in college football. He also led his conference with 11 TD catches and was second in receiving yards with 1,038.

Brandon Gibson, Washington St.: Another representative of the Pac-10, Gibson was more of a big play guy than Thomas. While he was fourth in the conference with 67 catches, he led it in yards, with 1,180. Gibson's 17.6 yards per catch was 25th best in the nation.
