Believe it or not, here is some Atlanta Falcons news that isn't about Michael Vick.
Falcons starting tailback Warrick Dunn recently had surgery for a herniated disc, which will keep him out of action for at least six weeks. This is Dunn's second surgery since February.
Dunn's health issues open the door for second-year running back, Jerious Norwood, who was very impressive in limited action last season.
Norwood, a speedster from Mississippi State, averaged 6.4 yards per carry in 99 chances, including long runs of 69 and 78 yards.
If Norwood starts the season as the Falcons' top running back and performs like he did as a reserve in 2006, Dunn may never get his starting position back.
