Some links to apprise you of the goings-on around the world of professional and collegiate football.

- The UCLA Bruins football team has a tradition of skipping a practice each spring by climbing over some wall, but this year, new head coach Rick Neuheisel wasn't so happy with the timing of it all. (Gutty Little Bruins)

- The NFL's scheduling fairieslinks did the St. Louis Rams no favors. The team faces every NFC East team in the first 6 games, along with Seattle and Buffalo, then they travel to New England. Meanwhile, in the second half of the season they play the likes of Atlanta, San Francisco and Miami. After the team has been beaten and battered. (STL Today.com)

- The Detroit Lions reportedly have their sights set on drafting Florida DE Derrick Harvey. If you can believe anything that teams report leading up to the draft, anyway. (Pro Football Talk)

- The Missouri football team has taken control of the lead in the not-so-prestigious battle for EDSBS's Fulmer Cup. (Every Day Should Be Saturday)
