Stories from around the world of football.
- The Cincinnati Bengals 2005 draft? Yeah, it was pretty horrific. None of their first three picks will be on the sidelines this year. One (David Pollack) to injury, and two (Odell Thurman, Chris Henry) to being morons. (Baltimore Sun)
- Because they apparently needed an even bigger recruiting advantage, the University of Florida is opening a $28 million football facility in July. (St. Petersburg Times)
- A convicted steroids dealer talked to the NFL, and gave up players whom he sold to. (NY Times)
- Newest Falcons QB Matt Ryan just got insanely rich. Good luck trying to live up to that contract next year. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Big Ten takes advantage of the BCS, because they don't have a conference championship game. Think they'll ever want a playoff in college football? (ESPN)
- Eventually, the St. Louis Rams will be sold by Chip Rosenbloom, but there is nothing immediately on the horizon, despite what Crazy Eddie DeBartolo says. (St. Louis Post Dispatch)
- Minnesota Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie was with the team during OTA's, after getting a continuance for his trial on assault charges. This is just one of the numerous times McKinnie has been in trouble. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
