NFL punters don't usually get $10 million contracts. Most punters, though, don't average 43.6 yards per kick and drop 33 inside the opponent's 20 in one season.

The Buffalo Bills rewarded six-year veteran Brian Moorman with a new contract, through 2012, placing him among the highest paid kickers in professional footballlinks.

Although we flinch, when considering a guy who kicks a ball getting paid nearly $2 million a year, the fact that it's Moorman makes it a bit more palatable.

Moorman is another good-guy story. He runs the Brian Moorman's PUNT Foundation, which helps children with cancer.

If athletes are going to make ridiculous amounts of money, it's nice when they are people like Brian Moorman.
