Mangino's Never Even Seen An Orange, Shouldn't Play In Their Bowl Game

That's why Kansas linebacker Joe Mortensen said "no comment" when the AP asked if Mizzou should have been in a BCS game.
Of the top 10 BCS teams, Missouri, at number six, was the only team left out of the BCS games. And two teams they beat, Illinois and Kansas, get to play in them. At least Illinois beat teams like Ohio State and Wisconsin. Kansas' strength of schedule? 74. Missouri's was third.
If Mark Mangino wanted to show integrity, and simply do the right thing, he would decline the invitation to the Orange Bowl (which of course will never happen). Why? Because his club was rewarded for losing. Think about that. If Kansas had beaten Missouri, the Tigers would be in a BCS bowl. Yet here are the Jayhawks, who didn't even win the Big 12 North division, in the Orange Bowl.
So the precedent has been set. Your school can also go to a BCS bowl game. Just have the Athletic Director schedule four home games against bad teams, lose enough to ensure you don't have to go to the conference championship game, and BCS, here you come!
