NFL Fantasy Football Flops - Week 6

QB Matt Schaub - The Texans face a stingy Jaguars pass defense this week, and it might be without WR Andre Johnson, who is still hurting. Jacksonville is seventh in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, and they figure to slow down whomever is on the field at wide receiver for Houston come Sunday.
QB brett favre
- Green Bay is playing the Redskins at Lambeau in a match-up of teams with surprisingly good records. Still, the game could be trouble for Favre owners. The Redskins have a good pass defense that only allows 182 yards per game. On top of that, the Pack have yet to prove they can run the ball, so the 'Skins D will be focused purely on stopping Green Bay's passing game.RB Cedric Benson - Unless you have absolutely no other options, Benson needs to be on your bench. His Bears team faces the Minnesota Vikings, who possess the best run defense in the NFL. They allow just 62 yards per game on the ground, and combined with Benson's horrific 3.0 yards per carry stat, and this match-up is a nightmare.
RB Thomas Jones - When Jones was traded to the New York Jets, it was thought to be a great move. It hasn't turned out that way yet. Jones is averaging just 51 yards a contest and 3.4 yards per carry in the '07 campaign, and it won't get much better come Sunday. The Jets face a Philadelphia Eagles team that allows less than 75 yards per game on the ground.
WR Braylon Edwards - Edwards has been much improved this season, but that could hit a snag come Sunday. The Browns play the Miami Dolphins, who have not been good defensively, except against the pass. That's probably because the team gets run on so much that there isn't much need to throw the ball. Still, they're third in the NFL against the pass so far. Edwards isn't a terrible play, but there are plenty of better options out there.
WR Patrick Crayton - The Cowboys wide out has gotten some love in recent weeks, but that should stop here. Even though he has played well in his last two games, he is still the third option behind Jason Witten and Terrell Owens. Not only that, but the Patriots are the 'Boys opponents, and they are giving up less than 180 yards per game through the air, despite leading early and often.
