QB Donovan McNabb - The Eagles get to feast on the the N.Y. Jets pass defense, which is giving up an average of 245 passing yards per game.
QB Kurt Warner - The new Arizona Cards starter has played well in his limited time, and he goes against an average Carolina Panthers secondary. The possible return of Anquan Boldin could help things out greatly, as could more use of the no-huddle offense Warner excels in.
RB Ronnie Brown - If you have him, he is a must-start. Not only has he been on fire lately, but the Dolphins play the Browns on Sunday, and to say their run defense has been bad is an understatement. Cleveland has allowed over 157 yards rushing per game.
RB Larry Johnson - Like many of you, I have been waiting for LJ to break out and do something, anything to get some points. A nice cure for that will be the Bengals run defense. Cincy comes to Arrowhead, and with Damon Huard ailing a bit, expect Larry to go off.
WR Bernard Berrian - Chicago's opponent this week is the Minnesota Vikings. And if there's one thing the Vikings do well, it's stop the run. That will be especially true with Cedric Benson being the feature back. So that means Brian Griese and Co. will be putting it in the air plenty against the NFL's third-worst pass defense in terms of yards per game. Expect Berrian to get his first TD this week.
WR Steve Smith - Too obvious? Maybe, but considering Jake Delhomme was replaced by David Carr, and Smith has caught all of 10 passes for 89 yards the last three weeks, some folks are concerned. But with Carr having more time to assimilate himself in the offense, and going against a middle-of-the road Arizona Cardinals
pass D, he should break out of his mini-funk this week.Permalink: NFL Fantasy Football Freaks
