NFL Week 10 Fantasy Football Freaks

QB Brett Favre: Favre is having a great season, throwing for over 2,400 yards and 13 touchdowns. While he does have 8 interceptions, he is completing exactly 2/3 (66.6%) of his passes and has thrown for over 300 yards in 5 of his past 6 games. Sunday at Lambeau field should be no different, as the Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings
. The Vikings have the second worst pass defense in the league (leading Cleveland by a single yard), but one of the better run defenses. Since the Packers aren't the most proficient ground team anyway, it sets up perfectly for Favre to top 300 yards with a couple scores. RB Marshawn Lynch: The Bills running back had his breakout game last week, rushing for 153 yards and a touchdown, though not many people noticed, as fellow rookie Adrian Peterson more than one-upped him by setting a new single-season NFL rushing record. While Lynch may not have done that, he did get his first 100+ yard game, and averaged 5.3 yards per carry, just the second time he's averaged more than 4 ypc, and the first time he's been over 5. Now, Lynch goes against Miami and their rushing defense, which is the second worst in football, giving up over 160 yards per game.
RB Cedric Benson: I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Benson finally has a big game this weekend against the Raiders. The Oakland run defense gives up over 152 yards per game on the ground, and their pass defense is outstanding. That will leave Chicago with little choice but to feed Benson early and often. It will be yet another major disappointment if he doesn't go for at least 80 yards and a score.
WR Larry Fitzgerald: Fitzgerald's lowest amount of receiving yards in a game this season is 20, and that came in week 1. After that, he doesn't have less than 85, including four weeks in a row of at least 95 yards. Though he only has one touchdown, he could get off the snide this week at home against Detroit's 30th ranked pass defense. There's no reason to think Fitzgerald's string of big yardage days won't continue vs. the Lions, but let's hope Kurt Warner remembers him in the red zone this week.
