NFL Week 7 Fantasy Football Freaks
Week 7 of the NFL season is here, and we previously looked at some potential NFL fantasy football flops. Well, now let's go ahead and see if we can recognize some potential freaks (and that's meant in a good way).

QB Tony Romo: Romo played a decent game against the Patriots on Sunday, but the Cowboys lost, and now he can take out his frustrations on the Minnesota Vikings and their pass defense, which is the worst in the NFL. What the Vikings do have is a very good run defense, so Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will likely dial up the pass early and often.

QB Carson Palmer: The Bengals are struggling to get going, as they come into the weekend's game against the Jets in last place in the AFC North. In fact, the two teams have a combined record of 2-9. It would be hard to blame any failure on Palmer, who isn't having a spectacular season, though he is still productive. The Jets are the 27th ranked pass defense in the NFL, and with T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson running routes for him, Palmer is primed to have a good day.

RB Willie Parker: Fast Willie gets to line up against the Denver Broncoslinks run defense, which must make him salivate. Denver is fantastic against the pass, but vs. the run? Not so much. In fact, they're dead last in the NFL. By a lot. The Broncos give up a whopping 187 yards per game on the ground. LaDainian Tomlinson hit them up for 4 touchdowns a week ago, and thought it's doubtful Willie will get that kind of production, he should have no problem racking up yards and a score or two.

RB Thomas Jones: Though Jones is 10th in the NFL in rushing yards, he has not gotten off to a particularly great start. He is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, and has yet to put the ball in the endzone. However, he and the Jets get to face a Bengals team that allows 145 rushing yards and over 30 points per game. Hopefully for Jones owners and Jets fans, he can use this as his breakout game.

WR Joey Galloway: Galloway seems to have found a comfort zone working with Tampa Bay QB Jeff Garcia. He has over 400 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns on the season, and the Buccaneers are playing the Lions, who rank 30th in the NFL against the pass. Galloway has caught at least 4 passes in all but one game this season, and he is coming off a good performance against Tennessee, where he had nearly 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. Expect Garcia to look for Galloway a number of times.
