
Week 7 of the NFL has quickly come upon us. We are near the halfway point, and injuries are mounting for several teams, while others look to get some of their stars back. A rundown on the injury situation throughout the NFL.
- St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger will return to the starting line-up on Sunday in Seattle.
- Returning to action for the Steelers will be three important players: wide receivers Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes, and safety Troy Polamalu. Each is expected to play against Denver.
- In Baltimore, Ravens Pro Bowl cornerback Chris McAlister is doubtful for Sunday's game at Buffalo, according to the Baltimore Sun.
- San Diego Chargers center Nick Hardwick has a sprained foot, and could miss a month, so says the North County Times.
- New England Patriots running back Sammy Morris might miss a month, according to ESPN. He left the game against the Cowboys early on Sunday. Morris was the back-up to injured starter Laurence Maroney.
- Concussed Miami Dolphins QB Trent Green has practiced with the team, and says he feels no side effects from his injury. His return is still up in the air, however.
- A big free agent signee of the Cleveland Browns, center LeCharles Bentley has yet to play a snap for them and now is return to practice has been delayed as he continues to recover from torn knee ligaments, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
- The Denver Broncos are coming off a bye week, which was apparently enough to get wide receiver Javon Walker ready to play on Sunday against Pittsburgh, according to the Rocky Mountain News.
