Reviewing NFL Fantasy Freaks Predictions
Filed in archive Fantasy Football on October 15, 2007
On Friday, we made some predictions on players that we thought would be a good bet to blow up and get your fantasy team some points from yesterday's NFL games. Let's take a look and see how we did.
QB donovan mcnabb: The Eagles and McNabb were going up against a bad Jets pass defense, and McNabb had a pretty good game, throwing for 278 yards and a touchdown, along with one interception. The Eagles had such good success running the ball, the need to throw it wasn't as great as it may have been. Still, McNabb got you an adequate number of points.
RB Larry Johnson: Kansas City was facing a less than formidable run defense, but even more than that, he was just plain due. And he didn't disappoint, running for 119 yards and a touchdown, and catching 2 passes for 24 yards.
RB Ronnie Brown: Brown has been, depending on your league format, the best or one of the best players in all of fantasy football. He got over 100 yards rushing and 69 yards receiving, but QB Cleo Lemon vultured two rushing touchdowns. He probably could have had more rushing yards, but the Dolphins got behind early and had to pass.
WR Bernard Berrian: The Bears wideout wasn't the fantasy star in this one (obviously Adrian Peterson was), but he did take advantage of an average Vikings pass defense, and he hauled in 5 catches for 78 yards and grabbed his first touchdown pass on the year.
