QB Donovan McNabb: McNabb had been somewhat shaky recently, but the Minnesota Vikings pass defense is usually a remedy for quarterbacks. It was for the Eagles QB as well. McNabb went 23 of 36 for 333 yards and 1 touchdown pass. He also rushed for 13 yards. It would have been nice to see another TD pass, but overall, a good day.
RB Willie Parker: Fast Willie lived up to his name. The Steelers back sped through the Cincinnati Bengals
defense for 126 yards. He also broke a drought and got into the end zone. Parker will be even more valuable if he can continue to pound the rock over the goal line. RB Marshawn Lynch: I figured one of these games, Lynch was going to break out and do something special, and who better to do it against than the New York Jets defense? Unfortunately, the Bills running back continued his mediocrity. It wasn't a bad day for Lynch, but again he averaged less than 4 yards per carry, as he got just 80 yards on 21 carries, and did not score.
WR Roy Williams: The big fella had struggled for a few consecutive games, gaining only 112 total receiving yards in three straight contests. He, like Lynch, was due to bust out, and though he didn't quite do that, he still played well. Williams led the Lions with 8 catches and 77 yards in their win against the Chicago Bears. He didn't score a touchdown, because offensive coordinator Mike Martz chose to focus on running with Kevin Jones, which was a successful tactic.
