Ricky Williams suspension extended

Ricky Williams is still smoking pot. Ricky Williams has social anxiety disorder. Ricky Williams has a problem with lying.
All of these may or may not be completely accurate, depending upon which source you read, but for the Miami Dolphins, the question is not what is most accurate, it's which is the biggest problem Miami must consider before accepting Williams into the Dolphins backfield and lockerroom.
Less than a month ago, Williams was talking like he couldn't wait to get back to the NFL and to the Dolphins. He was teaching yoga classes in the Sierra mountains.
And he had most definitely given up marijuana. At least, this was his claim. Of course, a recent NFL drug test shows something completely different.
Now, after a positive marijuana test, Ricky Williams' future in professional football is once again in doubt. The earliest he can return is September, when Miami's running back situation should be settled.
Once again, the Dolphins will have to ask themselves if they want a man with a long history of drug abuse, a football player in the public eye who gets the shakes when he's near the public, and a man who can't seem to get the story straight on his own personal shortcomings.

I still do not understand how marijuana use gives Ricky Williams any kind of advantage. Who cares what he does in his free time, especially considering that it helps his mental disorder? At least he is not out drinking, driving and shooting up bars like "Pacman".

He needs serious commitment to get rid of his drug problem. I don't understand why he still denies his drug problem specially knowing that he will be drug tested. Let's hope he will realize how serious this really is not only for his health but also for his career.

Inpatient treatment is considered by many to be the best treatment for long-term success of alcohol abuse and drug abuse. Most try outpatient methods first. Determination is the key factor to success. Your life and the lives of your loved ones can and will change for the better. Talk to a professional at a Wyoming addiction recovery center and find out the many options available to you. Life can, and will be better, you just have to take that first step.

Given how well he performed on the field, you would have to say that by now Williams has conquered at least some of his demons. He may still be smoking in the off-season, but you figure they are testing him like crazy throughout the course of the year.
