So most of you might have heard there is this football game on Saturday between USC and Ohio State. Frankly, we think most people will still be locked into the Alabama A&M at Louisiana-Monroe contest, but it still might do well in the ratings.
The problem is, most people aren't that sure it will be a close game. We all know the history of Ohio State in recent big games, but there's no need to delve into that. The problem for them won't be that history – it will be USC's defense. Does anybody really think a less than 100 percent Beanie Wells will be able to get by Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga, Taylor Mays and Co.? Didn't think so. While nobody should look past the Buckeyes D, USC has too many weapons not to put up some points.
Let's face it, OSU struggled to beat Ohio by a score of 26-14. And the game wasn't a case of the Buckeyes taking an early three touchdown lead and backing off a bit. OSU was actually losing the game at the end of the third quarter, 14-12. If their offense can't put up points against the Ohio Bobcats, how will it score enough against the Trojans, who will undoubtedly put points on the board? It just doesn't look like a good matchup for the Buckeyes, which is why we'll call it: USC 31, Ohio State 17.
