The Day After ... Week 6

Filed in archive NFL by Kyle Smith on October 13, 2008

Week 6 of the NFL is over, save for the Monday night game. Let's review the carnage.

- Even the Redskins' cheerleaders couldn't distract the team after their three turnovers helped the Rams win in Washington for their first win of the year.

- That Chicago loss to Atlanta in the last second? Ouch. Hopefully this is a message to NFL teams across the land to ditch the stupid squib kick.

- The Seattle Seahawks have likely seen their reign over the NFC West come to an end.

- 49ers coaching in the fourth quarter? Not so good.

- Terrell Owens, still yelling at teammates.

- Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky calls himself an "idiot" because, well, he made an idiotic play.

- Vikings fans were chanting "Fire Childress", to which Minnesota DE Jared Allen responded, "Chilly is my guy."
