Thurman Thomas is deserving Hall of Famer

When I first started playing fantasy football in 1990, Thurman Thomas was entering his third year in the NFL. Thomas was a prime fantasy football choice, especially in a basic scoring league; Thomas scored 12 touchdowns in his second season and was proving to be the Buffalo Bills workhorse.
For the next seven years, Thomas was a mainstay in the first or early second rounds in our annual draft.
As a fantasy football enthusiast, you tend to fall for certain players. Some owners always seem to have the same guy on their teams year in and year out.
I had Thomas three of those seven great years, and my team made the Fantasy Bowl in one of them and lost in the playoffs the other two.
The thing about Thurman Thomas is he was one of the most consistent and reliable NFL and fantasy running backs for a long time.
Thomas wasn't always the best back in the league, but he was always in the top tier of NFL runners.
Now, after 13 seasons - nine of them quite distinguished - Thurman Thomas is being inducted into the Pro Football
Hall of Fame.He may have never won a Super Bowl, even though he led his Bills to a record four straight, but he probably led a lot of fantasy football teams to Fantasy Bowl titles, with his consistent running, catching and scoring.
This was more than enough to make a fantasy owner like me happy, so Thurman Thomas will certainly make my fantasy football Hall of Fame.
I guess making the NFL Hall is nice, too.
