Is breaking a team curfew really a big deal? Maybe.
What if it's the team's rookie-of-the-Year quarterback?
And, what if it's because said QB is staying at his home, rather than at the team hotel?
Tennessee Titans second-year quarterback, Vince Young, sat out the club's first preseason game, because he was being disciplined by Coach Jeff Fisher, for just this reason.
Now, I'm all for team rules, and it's hard to argue with a man with the tenure and success of Fisher.
Really, though, penalizing your franchise quarterback because he slept in his own home? This is a tough pill to swallow, even for a play-by-the-rules sort of guy like me.
