Which 2nd Round Receiver Will Have Best Rookie Year?

Donnie Avery, Houston, Pick 33 - St. Louis Rams: The Rams need speed and a slot receiver, so Avery will have his chances. What may hold him back is his ability to grasp new offensive coordinator Al Saunders' notoriously large playbook.
Devin Thomas, Mich. St., Pick 34 - Washington Redskins: The 'Skins already have players like Santana Moss, Antwaan Randle El and James Thrash at the position, but Thomas has more size than them, so his opportunities will be there.
Jordy Nelson, Kansas St., Pick 36 - Green Bay Packers: Nelson is on a squad stocked at wide out, so his playing time may be more difficult to come by.
James Hardy, Indiana, Pick 41 - Buffalo Bills: Hardy probably has the best chance to be a big time contributor right away given his situation. At 6' 7", he is easily the tallest receiver on the team, and besides Lee Evans, the Bills' corp of wide outs lacks depth. And talent.
Eddie Royal, Virginia Tech, Pick 42 - Denver Broncos: Royal's opportunities are probably going to be limited for a while as the team has a dozen receivers currently on the squad. Those include veterans Brandon Marshall, Keary Colbert, Darrell Jackson, Samie Parker and Taylor Jacobs, so he will be in serious competition to earn time.
Jerome Simpson, Coastal Carolina, Pick 46 - Cincinnati Bengals: Simpson suddenly finds himself on a team that needs receivers a season after they had one of the most talented groups in football. If Chad Johnson does not report, Simpson is in a great spot to be at least the third option.
DeSean Jackson, California, Pick 49 - Philadelphia Eagles: Philly is interesting because they have a lot of bodies but few standouts. If he gets lost in the shuffle, Jackson may not catch as many balls as other rookies, but he may have the most impact of the group because of his return abilities.
Malcolm Kelly, Oklahoma, Pick 51 - Washington Redskins: Kelly is even taller than new teammate Thomas, so he will get his chances as well, especially in the red zone, as long his attitude remains in check.
Limas Sweed, Texas, Pick 53 - Pittsburgh Steelers: Sweed is in a great spot and will probably leave camp as the number three receiver, so he should catch his fair share of passes.
Dexter Jackson, App. State, Pick 58 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Bucs' receiving corp is aging, so Jackson will eventually have his shot. For now, he should be no worse than number four on the depth chart, or maybe three if Michael Clayton continues his mediocrity.
