Terrell Owens is right. Although it caused the spontaneous combustion of donovan mcnabb's head, Owens cried and defended Tony Romo by saying, "This is not about Tony ... We lost as a team."
That they did, and Jessica Simpson had nothing to do with it. To even bring her up in the equation is nonsensical (she wasn't there anyway).
No, the Cowboys lost and wasted a 13-3 season because they simply got outplayed. Romo was lucky to be walking after the pounding he took from the Giants defense. They lost because Marion Barber, after gaining over 100 yards in the first half, managed only 28 the rest of the way.
It certainly didn't help that WR Patrick Crayton was horrific, the Cowboys were flagged for penalties 11 times, and the defense missed a number of tackles.
So whatever you do, you can't blame Jessica Simpson. Had Romo gone to Mexico with Britney Spears, then you might have had something - the crazy could have rubbed off on him. But lacking that, the Giants were just better, and there are a whole lot of reasons why.
